The Adoption Campaign

Our first program starts today! so excited ~

We will be helping with an Animal Adoption Campaign at one of the very famous flower market at Jianguo. I haven had a clue what to expect, but was very much looking forward for it =)

Here's the entrance of the flower market. It's a really really huge market with many stalls selling all types of flowers. Aunty Liu told us the location but did not mention specifically that it was at inside the market. haha...

Henry & I was suppose to be waiting for her at the entrance, but we decided to walk around because there's just too much to miss! Humans are really curious~

Amazing flowers are all over the place.

Finally we found everyone right in the middle of the market! setting up process was already on going, so we helped too of course =)

donation that goes to helping the animals. You'll find American Dollars instead of Taiwan Yuan =P

Well~~I guess I need to show some Malaysian LOVE too right? =)

From the left, Henry, Michelle & Me...with the yellow vest that define our position as one of those animals lovers! ^^

First dog to arrive waiting for adoption, super CUTE! and yes the first to go =)

It's just too CUTE!!

We have a sign on top of the cafe saying it's free to adopted any of the Cats or Dogs.

There was not much people on the first morning due to the heavy downpour, everyone tries to stay indoor to hide from possible typhoon.

More dogs come in...

Then we have to set up more cages, arranging the position and stuff. Also not forgetting cleaning some of them too. Sometimes they poo...so~~~ *you know what I mean*

When everything is in place, we sit...and wait for the right person to appear =)

These are the 爱心妈妈 *Love Moms* who devoted their time to helping & saving the animals all around Taipei. They really show a lot of care to the animals and I really respect them.

Dog food =)

Some of them fell asleep....it was quite Hot even after then rain.

Kitty came in too later. She's kitty without a tail, but still...so CUTE!

One of the passerby brought his cat to visit. Doesn't it look like GARFIELD??

We have visitors from Indonesia too! Really friendly, they wish to adopt the animal but unfortunately it's not possible since they are traveling.

Another view of our booth. we have all the dog/cat food for sell in front. Also many types of animal collar and leash for sell too! Best of all..every single sens goes to the donation box! How cool it that!! =)

Our lunch. it's interesting the material they use for packaging the food. It's made of wood. According to Henry it's one of the influence they got from Japan *Taiwan was invaded by Japan 1895*

Martina got a Czech ~ English dictionary.

One of the cute puppies. They are just few months old.

One scenario which I notice is that a lot of people in Taiwan seems to bring their pet around. It's not something you'll see in Malaysia! This one on top seems to be looking for a mate~ =='''

Another passer by with his dog~

Chiwawa meet Chiwawa...this dude just open up his LV beg and little Chiwawa head came out! Can you imagine doing that in Malaysia?? Will we get fine?

More passer by..this one with a cute Poodle.

Finally the 'right person' appeared! =) This lady was very interested with first dog *cutest*. She came multiple time and giving it a really hard thought. Eventually she decided to adopt it...I was really excited because this was the first adoption for me!

So I was snapping photos all around like a paparazzi, she thought she's going to be on newspaper or something~ ^^'''

Aunty gave her all the instruction on how to take care of the dog. When to feed it, bath it, how to clean it etc~

Then Aunty wrote down her details in case there's any further questions.

She also need to fill in a form with all her details according to her identification card and sign. It is a wonderful and systematic process which really helps the animal to find a great home and making sure the owner takes good care of them =)

A new found family member!

We get to see all kinds of dogs! It was a really awesome opportunity for me! =)

Time to milk the kittens~

We met someone from France too! From the left Me, Martina, Sandradra, Martina & Michelle.

Yes he's MARTINA too! lols~

Time pass and more people came and of course there's tons of curious onlookers =)

Here's a little girl who is very interested with the Chiwawa =) How can she not??
She pleaded and pleaded for to her mummy until her mum said okayyyy...haha...how sweet~

One of the Aunty helping her to fill up the form

For each adoption we will provide a box for easier 'transportation' of the animal.

Another successful adoption, SO glad!

Seriously~we'll see all kinds of people bringing all kinds of pet to the market. Some big some small, some even carry it like it's their first born!

Just like this one~

Another macho guy who wants the puppy =)

Aunty even gave him a dog leash for FREE with only condition, that is for him to take good care of the puppy. See how loving aunties are towards to animal.

bye bye puppy~

It was a long day for us but time passed pretty quickly because everyone was having so much fun and there's so much laughter especially among the aunties =)

You can never get bore looking at the kittens!..especially the way they sleep

all kinds of positions! haha~

another cute puppy =)

We visited the famous Ximen Night Market *西門町*

You can find numerous performances on the street. This one especially was really cool, he's playing the Erhu, not the old opera songs but pop songs!

We even find this family *they look like the whole family to me* right in the middle of the night market all dressed up and standing there like a statue~ seriously...

To be continue......
